This weekend was race #6, and I had a lot of fun. I've written a writeup in the Race Summaries section, and uploaded 35 pictures from Race #5 and 60 pictures from Race #6 in the Gallery. Enjoy!

The MRA had our 3rd round of the 2004 season on May 30th, 2004 at Second Creek Raceway in Denver. I had a bit of a rough weekend, including a crash on Saturday and reduced performance on Sunday. I still had fun, though, which is the important thing. :)

The 2004 race season is fast approaching, with the first race coming up in less than 3 weeks. With the new season comes some updates to the website, including a color scheme that is meant to go with the new paint on my bike. Speaking of new, this year I've also got a new number - #68. I was a little sad to retire #739, but 2 digit number sure do fit on the bike easier. :)
I've also added an Image Gallery to the site, with some pictures from a recent trackday and a MRA practice day.
I've got some great sponsors for the 2004 season. Racing Performance Services is providing suspension support, Marcus McBain was a huge help to me last year and I'm very happy to be working with him again this year. Also, I'm pleased to be riding on Pirelli tires, sponsored by The Racer Supply Co.
I'm really looking forward to a great season this year, and hope to see you all out at the tracks!

I've posted the summary race #8 at Pueblo from Sept. 28th. Some mechanical issues caused me to have reduced confidence and not perform as well as I would have liked in the morning, but in the afternoon things started feeling good and I ran my personal best laptimes at this track. Thanks to my friend Doug, I've got video footage of the Novice GTO race from Race Weekend #8. There are 2 files available, one is the first 2 laps where I'm leading, and the other is the full race until it is red-flagged on lap 6.
The files are both in Windows Media format.
